The World NGO Day Summit 2012 will bring together and give a voice to leaders and stakeholders from all sectors to discuss cooperation, best practices and effective partnerships between the third, private and public sectors.

  • To discuss how NGOs (small, big, local, regional or international) can play a more inclusive role in the world, assisting in the development of different sectors worldwide.
  • It also calls for recommendations to reinforce collaboration and cooperation among NGOs in their activities.
  • The Summit will be a platform for different NGO groups, networks, forums including South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), the Baltic Sea NGO Forum, the Black Sea NGO Forum, Commonwealth countries, intergovernmental organisations, plus representatives from the private and public sectors.
